Hi there!! My name is Elizabeth but around here I’m usually called Momma. I’ve been married to my soulmate Jeremy for 3 years and we have been together for almost 11 years. Together we have 3 kids (hence the name) but honestly “my crew” as I like to call them consist of 5 kids and a 1year old lab/ pointer mix named Lily. My three are Ami who is 10 and is in 5th grade, Sabin is 6 and my only son. He has flaming orange hair and a personality to match., And then there’s Lexi who is right in the middle of the terrible 2’s.She is defiantly her dads girl, from her stunning blue eyes to the look she gives me when I do something not so smart. The other two are always with us but don’t actually live with us. They are my nephew Mason who is 8 and was diagnosed with Smith-Magenis Syndrome (SMS) about 7 years ago!
I was a young mom, having Ami at 20 years old. I worked until she was about 2 years old then I became a stay at home mom. Not long after that I became pregnant with Sabin and gave birth to him two weeks after my 24th birthday. About 4 years ago me and my husband decided that we would try for one more, we were then blessed with our third and last baby Lexi, who was born 4 days before my 28th birthday.
To tell you a little more about how i came to have a crew of 5. When Mason was born. I would keep him while his mom (my husband’s sister) worked. A year or so after he was born he was diagnosed with SMS, which is caused by a missing piece(s) of chromosome 17. Since SMS is a genetic disorder it effects many different parts of his body, leaving him with mental and physical disabilities. Since he needs constant supervising and guidance I have become his caregiver . He is able to go to school and is in a special needs class that joins a general ED 2nd grade class for a couple hours a week.
My husband and I just bought our first home!!! A beautiful 4 bed 2 bath, 2 story house. With just enough land for our dreams to grow on. I loved gardening since I was a very young child since the first time my Papa showed me how to snap beans, our new yard is flat and has no trees, perfect for my garden…
